2024 Mobility 21 Leadership in Equity Award

Big wins for better mobility! The Long Beach-East LA Corridor Mobility Investment Plan, recently received the 2024 Mobility 21 Leadership in Equity Award. This bold initiative included a community-supported, multimodal strategy for communities surrounding the I-710 corridor that prioritized equity and implementing multi-modal and environmentally-focused projects and programs.

HERE oversaw and facilitated the Community Leadership Committee (CLC) for the Corridor Investment Plan and liaised with community-based organizations and community representatives. As part of this effort, HERE worked with LA Metro to define strategy for the community input and our team participated in the other core components of the project like the Task Force and Working Groups.
