Brea Connecting the Core Active Transportation Plan

The HLA design team put their heads together to draw up visions for a re-invigorated downtown Brea, CA as part the city’s Connecting the Core Plan. The drawing session was part of a multi-day design charrette organized by the City of Brea and PlaceWorks. The team’s “dreams” include a protected and wide bike facility for all ages, a beautiful new tree canopy and a two-way mixed use path to connect to the re-purposed railroad tracks / bike path that runs through the heart of the city. It will be a more livable, walkable, a breathable city.
