One San Pedro Transformation

Here LA is pleased to be working on the One San Pedro redevelopment plan for Rancho San Pedro, a 478-unit public housing community located in the San Pedro area of Los Angeles. Our design work is focusing on the public spaces and streets within and around the site - generating streetscape and design recommendation to improve connectivity and access for people living in the neighborhood. The project is led by developers National Core, Century Housing Corporation, and the Richman Group, with oversight by the Housing Authority of Los Angeles (HACLA).

The team has just released our draft "Transformation Plan” for review and the final plan will go to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in early 2020. There will then be a two-year environmental process and construction would start in 2023 or after.
