First/Last Mile is Kicking Off for Purple Line Extension Section 1

Here LA is kicking off first/last mile analysis and design recommendations for Section 1 of the Purple Line Extension. Here LA will be leading community walk audits, pop-ups, and will be coming up with community generated design concepts that focus on enhancing the experience for those walking, biking, or rolling to future stations.

The study area includes a 1/2 mile radius or 10 minute walk from the Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax, and Wilshire/La Cienega stations. Here LA is currently wrapping up first/last mile for sections 2 and 3 (see below).
