Two Awards for Brea’s Connecting the Core Plan

This summer, the Brea Connecting the Core Plan received an award for transportation planning and an award for public outreach from the Orange County Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA). Working with Placeworks and the City of Brea, Here LA led the drafting of design concepts during the project charrette to re-envision a more walkable and connected downtown Brea, and designed and fabricated re-usable and mobile pop-ups for 2 phases of community engagement. The community-driven Active Transportation Plan aimed to develop a safer and more connected Downtown Brea.
