Anaheim, with its wide streets and vehicular-orientation, is not a city known for its walking and biking culture.  The Anaheim Transportation Authority (ATN) is trying to change that and HERE is helping them do so.  Our team helped ATN design and prepare for ANNA, a new transit line that connects major destinations like Disneyland, Angels Stadium, new nearby developments, and downtown Anaheim.  We identified First/Last Mile improvements to help people who are walking and biking to the new transit line and we talked to the community in a series of fun pop-ups, using artful activities to invite people into the conversation. In the first one, the community helped us build a colorful structure using their design ideas for the transit line. In the second, people shopped for their "ideal transit stop" picking up components like "shade and trees," "seating," "lighting," and other such amenities.
