Little Tokyo Joint Development

HERE oversaw creative outreach for LA Metro’s Joint Development RFIQ process at the Little Tokyo / Arts District Station. After engaging with local stakeholders in small group settings and a walk audit to get the pulse of the community, we designed and fabricated a roving interactive sculpture, that engaged people in an artful dialogue about their priorities for the future station area. People used colorful balls to voice their feedback and over the course of the day, priorities were visualized through color in 3 dimension.
