Southern California Pilot Projects

The HERE team helped to design four street improvement pilot projects throughout the Southern California region, from Calexico - a town on the border with Mexico- to Glendale, at the base of the Verdugo Mountains. We designed beautiful murals for the street and chose furniture, wayfinding, and plants to make the pilot streetscape improvements come alive.  Our team also carried out  creative community engagement sessions, full of art and color, to teach people about the benefits of good urban design, and to invite them into the design process.
