Burbank Golden State Specific Plan

Location: Burbank, CA

HERE is contributing urban design insights and outreach support for this Specific Plan for the areas adjacent to the Hollywood/Burbank Airport, 3 miles northwest of downtown Burbank. With an anticipated high-speed rail station planned within the District, the Specific Plan guides future land use, development, infrastructure, and public realm improvements. As part of this project HERE developed an interactive mobile walk audit application to retrieve and catalog community input during the planning process.

HERE also conducted a first/last mile analysis and recommended streetscape improvements to enhance the transit experience for people walking, biking and rolling to and from the Burbank Airport North - Antelope Valley Line and Burbank Airport South - Ventura County Line Metrolink Stations.
