Transit Supportive Planning Toolkit

HERE helped to build an online Transit Supportive Planning Toolkit for LA Metro that provides local governments, advocates, and developers in Los Angeles County with strategies for integrating land use and transportation planning.

The Toolkit helps to reduce passenger vehicle trips and vehicle miles traveled (VMT) through increased rates of walking, biking, and transit usage. The Toolkit includes a wide range of policy and regulatory tools that have successfully been implemented throughout Southern California and across the State. HERE helped to build the urban design and streetscape related tools, along with the outreach and communication best practices.
